So apparently some chinese guys have made some kind of QB RPG, or at least a game with QB chars on it. They do get bonus points for adding the Grimoire gals, that's for sure.
So how's the game exactly? That we don't know, since there are only a few screenshots available on the net. It does have its fair share of unofficial fan art, though (yay, links galore), so even if it turns out to be completely unrelated to HJ, at least we have to commend their efforts.
If you have a Windows Phone, and you don't mind the chinese, it seems you can download it here, where you can find also a few more screen caps. In case anyone happens to find out more about the game, be sure to let us know~!

I still hope for a fighting game a la DOA or SC with QB characters and break armor features
ReplyDeleteman, I do too, that's the way Queen's Blade video games should be done!
DeleteI would so love to have something like this. But I think It will never get done, developers miss out on things like this all the time. Someone should start a thing on Kickstarter hahaha.
DeleteSome other things kind of on topic, I would've loved a Real Steel fighting game, that micro-transaction rip off was awful. And I don't know a Wreck it Ralph racer based on Sugar rush. Am I the only one that sees this stuff?
If this proves to be a fighter. I hope it's like Arcana Hearts minus the crazy air combos.
ReplyDeleteUhhhh, you might wanna click the links provided man. It's a phone game, says so right there, even shows some screens of the system.
DeleteToo many connection errors. And the games reaching a pay to win system the mire you progress. Also, I really don't understand how character unlocking works. It just happens after fiddling around.
ReplyDeleteOh, so you were able to play? Tell us, how are the battles? Are there neat skills to use and stuff, or is it just mindless clicking?
DeleteA pay to win system for a game which the creators don't have the license? That sounds a bit illegal...
Delete@leecherboy You pick your characters, then send them to battle. Whenever their mana bar charges from autoattacking, you activate their skill (characters usually have more than one, but they're locked), which from the characters I have are: single target combo, multi target aoe, party healing. I'm... not very interested in mobile games, but it's interesting enough to get me to play just for the sake of unlocking all the characters. But since I have no idea how that works (plus constant, I mean CONSTANT dropped connections), I gave up.
DeleteHm, I see, sounds about as generic as I thought in the first place... Thanks for the trouble, though!
DeleteMan, I wasn't even aware there were games for windows phones only
ReplyDeleteI guess there's no way to play them on the PC through some sort of emulator or something?
