It *is* the second part of a drama cd we've had translated forever in the Downloads page (the one with Tomo, Leina and Nana on the cover), and as such might reference it a couple times... though I suppose listening to a CD while reading a DOC isn't really something couth, so we'll probably sub that one soon too.

-Games: Queen's Blade Limit Break was low-key announced! Not a lot of info on the Twitter so far tho, we got some sprites for all the girls that could fit just fine in an Arknights-like tower defense game, but who knows...?

-Books: None for now.

-Anime: Not a lot of progress on this front, and the mournful passing of the QB anime director won't help matters any...

For the Ikkitousen collab opinion poll, "pretty good" won with 12v-63%, with "could have been better", "didn't really like it" and "it was awesome" kinda clumped together with 4v-21%, 2v-11% and 1v-5%.

Well, not bad for a funky cameo with really bouncy live2d, I'll give them that :3

Next poll is about the Leina vs Airi etiquette match from last week!

For this week's news, the asshats at Fandom are apparently targeting ecchi wikias and giving 2 weeks advice before erasing it (like they're doing with the Monster Girl Encyclopedia), so maybe our QB wikia is going to follow the same steps...?

For the maths poll, Catt won with 22v-63% versus Clau with 13v-37%.

Hmm, guess a single mother with a shop has to manage a tighter budget than a noble general with a sizable army...

Next poll, what about the Ikkitousen collab? (that seems to be ending in a few hours, but you still have a few days left to pull for the gals)

Kinji Yoshimoto, Director of Queen's Blade Anime, passes away at age 55

Not the kind of upbeat news we deliver in this blog, but alas...

Thanks to our pal Darkworld97 for the heads up, it hasn't been reported in many anime sites yet, but the official japanese press release is here (which the japanese wikipedia seems to be confirming), and there are more details here: https://remonews.com/mexicoeng/fallecio-kinji-yoshimoto-director-of-arifureta-shokugyou-de-sekai-saikyou-kudasai/

Besides Queen's Blade, he worked on many other series, as you can see in his Wikipedia page...

Yours truly was rather lucky this time around, since I only needed 11 pulls (encompassing 4 rerolls) to get Airi, and 6 pulls to get Elina.

Sorry if the vid looks choppy at times (especially the animations?), but Bluestacks apparently hogged too many resources for my recording app.

I might do a follow-through vid with the so-called "memorial scene" when I manage to unlock them, and if they're worth it.

So, what's the game about?

Well, just a simple RPG very reliant on auto (you have 3 skills but the cpu kinda decides which one to use for you?), and it's up to you to use the super (Extra Burst) whenever you want.

In pvp or raids you'll fight with your squad of 4, and in other modes you fight with 12 at the same time (you still only control 4 though).

First of all, we're now in the middle of the Ikkitousen collab, waiting for Elina's banner to drop to see if RNGesus treats your boy right and I can show you all the good stuff I'm able to.

Secondly, the QBLB tweet is on fire with the chibis, so here's a gif with the latest ones!

For the funky QB game genre poll, "puzzle game" won with 11v-41%, followed by a tie between "rhythm game" and "shoot-em up" with 6v-22%, and last was "racing game" with a 4v-15%.

Lol, it'd sure be fun to think up concepts for these, huh? We had a nice thing going coming up with a Mario Kart-style roster in the comments :3
