Queen's Blade 2006 Winter Designs: Menace (1)

On the "best elf representative" poll, Alleyne won with 76v-75%, followed by Echidna with 19v-18%. After that, there was a tie between Nowa and Yuit with 3v-2%, with Vante getting no votes in the end, oh well.
...Hm, not really a surprise, huh? Me and my partner did think Yuit had quite the makings of a proper elf, but I guess no one can stand up to our "captain" :D

Next poll, a rare Anarista x Menace poll?

And here we begin with our ancient princess, whose design notes also needed a bit of pro help for us to decipher!

Main visual of Queen's Blade Unlimited unveiled!

Edit: added banner.

As our buddy dranzerstar noticed in the Discord channel, today's HJ site update revealed the new site for QB Unlimited. Granted, it's still a bit barebones, but it does show a quite beautiful and intriguing pic of the new show:

Plus a banner in the main site:

The text there reads: "A stronger, and more intense reboot!", and below the pic they say something quite similar to what the previous teasing illustration from the magazine ended up saying, more or less:

"The beautiful fighters of Queen's Blade are back into action!

The reboot's name is: "Queen's Blade Unlimited"

It'll be keeping the settings of the characters and those of the world as a whole almost as they were, but the new story will act as a new stage for both anime and figures!

In charge of the reboot's designs will be Osaki Shinya from
UNKNOWN GAMES (representative works: Frozen NECRO <Tokyo & Necro>, among others), keeping in mind the theme of "cool and sexy".

Stay tuned for the new struggles of our 18 beautiful fighters!

We will keep releasing news about its development on our official page

More info as it develops!

Queen's Blade 2008 Summer Designs: Melpha (3)

For the "Which of the 7 Sins represent you better" poll, "sloth" won with 15v-31%, followed by a tie between "lust" and "wrath" with 11v-22%. After that, there was another tie, this time between "envy" and "pride" with 4v-8%, then "greed" with 2v-4% and finally, and "gluttony" with 1v-2%.
Guess we kinda wouldn't be around here if we didn't have some lust in us, would we? lol

Next poll is a rare inspiration I had: what's the QB elf which represents them better?

And here we finish with Melpha!

Next: my waifu, Menace~!

Queen's Blade 2008 Summer Designs: Melpha (2)

Regarding the "Unlimited reboot is a good choice" poll, "only time will tell" won with 25v-43%, followed by "the idea makes sense" with 14v-24%. After that, there was "reboots never are the way to go" with 8v-14%, "it was the only choice!" with 6v-10%, and lastly "they should have tried with a new series honestly" with 4v-7%.
Hm, lots of differing opinions, there have sure been lots of successful and unsuccessful reboots through the story of anime, huh? Let's hope we get lucky with this one~

Now, apparently the 7 Sins gals will be joined (for now in figure form?) by the new "7 Virtues", so we wanted to do a poll somewhat related to that. Which sin would you say fits you most?

And here we continue with our classic priestess!

Queen's Blade 2008 Summer Designs: Melpha (1)

For the F.S. artbook poll, "I'd love to get a look at it" won with 34v-62%, followed by "pretty neutral on it" with 9v-16%. After that was "preordered the book long ago!" with 5v-9%, and then a tie between "not really my kind of artbook" and "who's F.S.?"at 3v-5%.
Is it too obvious if I say I did get it? It's pretty cool tho, lots of rare pictures you just don't find everywhere.

Then next poll, we couldn't resist addressing the Unlimited reboot, would that have been your go-to choice?

So now we start with Melpha, introduction page with a few obscure tidbits! A noteworthy detail though, is the fact that some of the finer text was handwritten and blurry as all heck, so we had to resort to mercenaries (i.e. hired help) to clear it up for us. These are the kind of binds having a Japanese speaker on board would easily solve, oh well...
