For this same reason, HJ are running an event at Akiba right now, with a gallery, cosplay, talkshows, signings by F.S. and Alicia's and Zara's artists, and even a charity auction.
Here's QB's current situation, to recap a little.
-Gamebooks: Alicia and Zara were released quite recently (yay links galore, and that's not even counting my half-translation of their HJ previews), Rebellion's Witch is still delayed, no Queen's Gate books in sight.
-Visual books: English Perfect Visual book and Vanquished Queens 2 to be released next week
-Anime: Vanquished Queens anime just announced, Grimoire anime discussed in the event above?, no news on more Rebellion anime
(Update: Unconfirmed rumor from the talkshow says Grimoire chars by F.S. and Leina's artist Kaneko Hiraku are under preparation. Awesome!)
And well, kinda inspired by a post from fellow QB fan Setsunarx a while ago, I thought this would be a good time to show off my collection (excuse the crappy cellphone pics, though). Can you recognize all of them?
And finally, my figures. I wanted to get a pic of the QBR Minis too (I think they come with 2 spare ones?), but they haven't arrived in the mail yet, too bad.

Do you know when the Alicia, and Zara characters will be available to use in Queen's Blade Battle? I don't know if you have the books or not yet, how long does it usually take from you getting them to having them in the game?

I usually get them in 3 weeks, give or take a couple of days, and I spend several days scanning them... so it ends up being around one month from release date, unless someone in 4chan scans them earlier (lately we haven't been that lucky, though).

DeleteI've gathered images of Saeko Busujima, the quota is 32 i assume? I recall you(Baofu) talking about some type of image drop thingamajig, so you can check them out, see if they will suffice for CB images. (note: none of the images are pornographic or of that nature, but some are ecchi!)

Delete@Ninja: Rikku sounds great (and we'd get closer to the "Dead Fantasy" series, lol), and sure, Dress-Spheres are totally FFX's thing, so if there are cool ones, even better.
@Okami: Kudos for Lightning, that's a lot of cool pics. I guess I'll let Baofu tell me her attacks and stuff, I haven't played 13 either.
For Rider, she sounds like a good enough candidate, she'd have attacks with that dagger/nail thing, I figure she'd have some pegasus riding attacks and Bellerophon and Petrification Eyes as Supers (don't know how many pics you can find of her, though).
As for Bayonetta, you mean from Extended Range, right? Thanks, nice spotting.

By the way, dresspheres are Final Fantasy X-2, the much less serious sequel...I'd rather not have dresspheres, because that's essentially the switching of jobs/classes, so that'd be too many attacks...I'd rather have her character be Thief/Rogue focused, with random alchemy effects and extra damage against mechanical/robot enemies...but that's my two cents...
That said, if Ninja needs help gathering more Rikku pics, I can help too...

Hm, sure this Rikku's better labeled than before, but it's kinda lacking some... dynamism? I don't know, I guess I expected more attacks and stuff. The same goes for the Dress Spheres, if she had cool attacks in them... I guess we need some of Okami's help for Rikku.
DeleteAnd sure, go for Yuna next... though if you have trouble getting pics, I always recommend DeviantArt, Pixiv with an account and imageboards like Danbooru to cover all your bases.
@Okami: How many chars, you say? Well, as long as you understand that I can only include a couple of them tops every release, I'd say, keep them coming... Maybe Baofu can lend me a hand with organizing and preparing them, or something.
