Queen's Blade 2006 Winter Designs: Menace (1)

On the "best elf representative" poll, Alleyne won with 76v-75%, followed by Echidna with 19v-18%. After that, there was a tie between Nowa and Yuit with 3v-2%, with Vante getting no votes in the end, oh well.
...Hm, not really a surprise, huh? Me and my partner did think Yuit had quite the makings of a proper elf, but I guess no one can stand up to our "captain" :D

Next poll, a rare Anarista x Menace poll?

And here we begin with our ancient princess, whose design notes also needed a bit of pro help for us to decipher!

Enjoy!

  2. Agreed!! Her Rebellion outfit was hot!! It kinda had a pro Wrestling look to it as well.

  3. Hey guys, just think about something, we know the deisgn is different for this remake, but what about voice actors and music? I hope they'll keep working with Masaru Yokoyama and all the seiyuu.

  4. Hopefully they will keep the same voice actresses. I really can't imagine Menace sounding different. It just wouldn't work for me.

    1. Oh right, Menace's voice actress... that's probably the only one who could change :|
I mean, during the period while her original actress was recovering from an illness, Akane Tomonaga replaced her in VQ2 OVA, didn't she? Plus, I'm pretty sure Rebellion CD3 was planned in the beginning to include Menace in it, but was replaced by Liliana for the same reason (can't seem to find a link for this, though?)

Granted, our Yuki Goto should probably have made a full recovery by now, so it's probably no cause for concern...?

  5. Personally, I always thought Yuit is actually a gnome or something like that, she is shorter than a dwarf and have a magitech background.

And all the thing her being a "little elf" is due to japanese not having a particular word for gnomes perhaps? I don't know, every work out there says Yuit is "a little elf" it never says just "elf".

Just a personal theory wanted to share :p
