Queen's Blade Grimoire: Goldie sallies forth!

After what seemed like forever, the HJ magazine just revealed the new Grimoire girl, "Golden Battleaxe" Goldie by F.S., based on the tale of Kintaro and to be released around summer.

No info yet on her powers or basically anything else... You'll notice that's a scan of half the page, I was holding out posting this for a bit in case the other half had Leina's artist's new girl in it... but well, I'll update accordingly whatever the case.

  1. Thanks for the scan! I interested in her flail/tail thing, it seems to be part of her outfit.

  2. When I saw the picture I said "WTH that doesn't look anything like Goldilocks! her hair isn't even blonde!" then I read the text, and realized what it was lol.

I like the design alright, but not as much as the other Grimoire designs we have seen so far.
Also the flail/tail thing seems to be attached to her axe.

  3. She looks so damn much like Melona... I guess maybe F.S. still wanted her to live on in this third series at least in spirit?

    2. I knew right away from looking at the picture that it was F.S. because the face looks very similar to Melona, and Menace.

  4. Also, if she's based on the tale of Kintaro, they could have used this opportunity to create a new version of Cattleya and Rana, through the youkai named Yama-uba (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yama-uba), who apparently helped raise Kintaro. They could have made a bishoujo out of Yama-uba and made Kintaro her orphan shota.

They may not have been able to match Cattleya and Rana, but since Rebellion and now Grimoire I wish there was something to fill the void they left, lol.

  5. That F.S. sure likes em curvy, eh? Big breasts and wide hips. Not a damn thing wrong with that, that's for sure. You can always tell by the faces and sheer jiggliness those characters have.
