Queen's Blade Conversations: Izumi

And we inaugurate a new feature! Did you ever notice the exchanges near the end of the books?

Even if theoretically these'd be just for fun (I guess not everybody meets everybody?), their references to canon facts and the Perfect Book paraphrasing some of these makes them undeniably legit... and they're an interesting read anyways.

Unfortunately, only about half the books have conversations. As usual, we start in reverse order, while I finish figuring out who among the originals had or didn't have these.

Enjoy!

  1. Izumi's reaction to Mirim is interesting. Perhaps Izumi has parents and siblings back in Hinomoto that she's fighting for?

    1. I think it's more like both are super-warriors (or so Izumi'd think) that started out as farmers?
For happy-go-lucky, cheating, and selfish characters like Izumi, a tragic past doesn't really fit them, it kinda makes them look too pathetic and overcompensating...

    2. You don't mind if I add these to the wiki?

    3. You'll have to decide where exactly, though, which is what had me stumped :)

  2. Izumi's talk with Sigui, Luna Luna, and Branwen are my favorites. I read Branwen's voice like Julia Chang voice from Tekken. Luna Luna devious face is the business

  3. Not sure if this has been brought up(though I'm not sure if this is the right place to bring it up anyway)
But the first three chapters of Exiled Warrior manga were on mediafire, and have been taken down. Would it be possible to re-up them on sendspace?

  4. Izumi is pretty funny, I liked the conversations with Sigui, and Ymir/Eirin the best.

  5. I love how you keep finding new tidbits of info to translate. My favorite part was where she mistook Ymir/Eirin as orphaned children.

  6. Stumbled upon your program recently, it's all quite impressive, I saw no other way of directly contacting you, so I'll just so ahead and ask here.

Is there any way you'd be willing to license out the engine for use in an original visual novel?

    1. Well, asking me here is fine, but you can find my email in the "help -> about..." options of the game, if that's more comfortable for you.

As for your question, um... it's kinda surprising to hear such things, so I'm not sure what you mean exactly, could you please elaborate a little? :)

I mean, it is programmed in C#, but I'd think the engine itself would only work for QB-like books?
