Queen's Blade: Sword of the Unicorn, chapter 3-a

For the VQ format poll, "both" won with 23v-14%, followed by a close race between "visual book" and "anime" with 14v-25% and 11v-20%, and then there was "neither" with 7v-12%.
Hm, seems it's quite split either way... I wonder if that was true about VQ not selling well in Japan due to it being considered too tame (of all things)?

And here's another poll, regarding the new cat-person from WT (who might or might not have been the anonymous partner in the ASMRs we saw last week?), what's their gender anyways?

Back with SOU, we start chapter 3 with a quite tantalizing pic that has Fio's ahoge reacting, yay~

Enjoy!

Chapter 3: Secret Revealed

Warm steam, as well as the pleasant aroma of herbs, filled the air.
A soothing atmosphere, capable of dispelling any tension to the visitors within.

The stone benches placed here and there were also warmed to perfection, only adding to the relaxing air. Anyone who sat on one could feel their bodies healing from just the contact.

All things considered, this bath house’s facilities were pretty nice.

Of course, there were many bath houses like these peppered throughout Sheldan, ready made to accommodate travelers and with armed guards placed at each entrance to protect their guests, defenseless as they were while bathing, to maximize their relaxation.

There would be no skeleton swordsmen to bother them here.

“I see, I can wash the smell off me here.”
Leina, now changed into a white bathrobe, was grateful for Tomoe’s thoughtfulness.
“You can even recover some of your battle fatigue as well.”
Tomoe, who had also changed, walked alongside Leina. More than a little overwhelmed by the sight of the two, Fio however, fell slightly behind.
The fabric of the bathrobes the two were wearing was not only paper thin, but had gotten moist in the steam, making any part of it that clung to their skin near completely transparent.

They couldn’t look sexier if they were nude.

Plus, while the bathrobe technically exposed less of her body than usual in Leina’s case, all that did was help emphasize just how voluptuous a body the blonde had.
Naturally, having all this just dumped in front of her, there was no way Fio’s body wouldn’t react.
[I’m so screwed. I might have managed to fool them somehow in the changing room, but as it stands, it’s only a matter of time before the truth about me is exposed.
God dammit… Coming here wasn’t part of the plan.]
Biting her lip, Fio continued walking behind them, fidgeting and pigeon-toed.

“Just how shy are you?”
The Vance heiress seemed to chalk up Fio’s behavior to shyness.
“Come now, we’re all ladies here, there’s no reason to be bashful.”
‘Now, now, come.’ Tomoe beckoned Fio closer to the two.
Every little movement the two fighters made, resulted in a very noticeable shake of the large breasts underneath their transparent gowns.
“Shyness isn’t really the issue here…”
‘Sure wished that it was though,’ thought Fio momentarily, before she continued talking.
“No, it’s just that… the two of you have some real amazing sets.”

Both women still staring in her direction, the dancer pointed to their breasts to shift their attention elsewhere.
“Ah, so that’s what it was.”
Leina took a look at her own breasts, then turned to Tomoe’s. She was fairly confident she had the foreigner beat when it came to size and shape.
In a similar way, Tomoe’s gaze started from her breasts before ending on the other’s. Tomoe admitted her loss when it came to size, but knew she wouldn’t lose when it came to shape.
Thoroughly unaware of what the other could be thinking, both rivals smiled.

“You’ll grow up too soon, Fio.”
Leina could barely contain a chuckle.
“You keep~ saying thaaat~”
[How many times has it been just today?]
Feeling like she was speaking to a broken record whenever the subject of breasts came up, Fio sighed.
“That’s right, the Continent is positively filled with plump women, so I believe you’ll become like Miss Leina in no time, Fifi.”
Despite taking issue with the use of the word “plump,” the blonde nodded in agreement.
“Y-Yeah.”

[I wouldn’t bet on that.]
Opting not to voice her doubts however, Fio simply continued to follow.

“By the way, how much farther?”
“Just a short ways more, there’s a reserved ‘saoona’ waiting for us there.”
In addition to the open baths used by ordinary clientele, there were several smaller rooms available to rent. Tomoe had been making constant use of them ever since her third day in Sheldan, seeing as how they allowed her proper relaxation without the worry of any unwelcome gazes.
“‘Saoona’?”
Hearing the odd intonation used by the priestess made the heiress do a double take.
“Yes, a ‘saoona.’ Do you not know of them?”
“Do you maybe mean a ‘sauna?’”
Leina asked back, with the correct pronunciation.

“O-Oh my, that’s embarrassing… This country’s language certainly is difficult.”
The foreigner shrunk.
“Well, seemed good enough to me anyhow. I mean, you got your point across, right?”
Fio encouraged.
“Whenever I’m travelling to other countries on my own, I usually struggle just to keep up. I think you’re doing great, Miss Tomoe.”

The younger girl’s praise came straight from the heart. While they’d barely met a few hours ago, what little Tomoe had shown her since had already left a much deeper impression in the dancer than what Leina did. It had been the priestess who cleansed the undea-- rotten swordsman, and she’d also been the one to lead them to this rest area after they’d gotten freshly kicked out of the inn.

Honestly speaking, Tomoe had been a lot more useful to Fio than Leina so far.

The black-haired girl’s cheeks reddened before the other’s words of sincere praise.
“Ohh? Are you blushing?”
Fio looked up at Tomoe’s face, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
“S-Stop that. Please… don’t tease me.”
Masking her blushing face, Tomoe opened the door to their small rented room.

  1. I remember reading old posts from then and the general consensus was that none of the girls had as bad as the book. Leina or Aldra probably had it the worst, and that still doesn't compare to something like Leina and the Ape.
