MMMMM, for some reason the stories in VQ2 are someway more...Vanilla.
I mean, when you read the first VQ book you couln't help but thinking "was rape, isn't it?" now the stories in this books are so soft that could even be canon.

I think that it's just that these happen to be some of the softer ones. Even VQ1 had some relatively tame endings (e.g. Liliana, Leina, etc.).
