QB Battle 31.7

Mirrors: App + Media + Extra + Fanmade (update)
Sendspace: App + Media + Extra + Fanmade (update)

Coinciding somewhat with SFxT's PC release, added the fanmade Elena and Revy (thanks to Okami31):

Coming next: Shanoa and Marvel's Black Cat.

By the way, if you guys didn't know, Melona's Rebellion outfit was featured in the book about QB figures, Master of QB Excellent 2. As the pic is too small, let's see if we can find a bigger one:

Edit (11-05): Fix for Data Mode showing less upgraded chars than it should: Mirrors/Sendspace

  1. Ah, yes I did see this.
Good to know that she'll be staring in Rebellion, given that she's been my favorite character.

    1. A solid date? Heh, it's hard to tell with these things, I'd rather not rush it and make sure I piece the whole thing together.
Probably before the next app update, if that's good enough.

  3. Melona happens to be my favorite character out of all of them in Queen's Blade. Potentially the ultimate fetish fuel given her amorphous shapeshifting ability, and happens to be voiced by Rie Kugimiya.

  4. I was thinking about some suggestions for fan gamebooks:

    FEMALES

Panty & Stocking (from Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt): Maybe a very obvious choice for a gamebook

Scanty & Kneesocks (ditto): for the same reasons

    Sailor Moon

    Crimson Viper (Street Fighter 4)

Han Juri (Super Street Fighter 4)

Sarah Kerrigan (Starcraft): Maybe because her battle name is "The Queen of Blades"? :)

    MALES

Pit (Kid Icarus): Well, he's cute, brave and popular IMO.

  5. I know you have a Black Lagoon character already, but a friend of mine wanted Roberta and Balalaika as well.

  6. Um, sure, I'm all for adding new chars and stuff (though I do think finding pics of Sailor Moon fighting is way too hard), but you know how I'm busy with crazy translations here...
Maybe I say this a lot, but if you want a char you like, it'd be faster if you could spare some time to hunt down cool pics for me to work on (especially now that I'm running out of the chars Okami31 provided).

    1. Is it that it doesn't save, or just that the char doesn't show up in the Data Mode? I did notice there's a bug in Data Mode that shows less chars, I'm fixing it asap.

If it still doesn't save, and you can't save xp with any char in any game mode, maybe you're running it in some folder like C: without writing access?

    1. Hmm, that's weird, I just ran it from scratch in a brand new folder and it saves just fine...

When the game runs for the first time, it creates a "save.dat", "save2.dat" and "system.cfg" in that folder, do you have those? If you change the options (like difficulty, or speed) and fight any match to completion, do those options remain changed after starting it up again?

  9. I just retried it after changing the options and it still doesnt save my stuff. But i did notice the story does.

    1. Oh? Well, that's something, though the results are written basically the same way as the story data...

Try this patch, it should save the config data just like the story, and if it still fails at saving results/config, at least you should get a pop-up with an explanation:
