Leina might be mind-controlled, but she's still tougher to crack than expected...?

Nowa dodged the charging blonde, and got behind her once again.
[How many times have I seen her back tonight?]
Turning her gaze toward Leina’s waist, her eyes found the strings tying the underwear in place. If she could tear off or outright cut that string, she'd achieve her goal.
“Let’s go, Lou!”
She thrust her staff at her opponent's waist.
*Clang!*
“Whuh!”
As she turned around, the controlled warrior parried her weapon with her sword - her attack pattern changed!
Still, Nowa thrust her staff relentlessly towards Leina’s waist.
Her opponent parried the attack for the second time, and then for the third, in a monotonous fashion.
After repeating the same action many times in a row, Nowa abruptly aimed at the upper body. Leina’s sword rose to defend against it.
“Got you!”
*Wooosh.*
Making a bending sound, the tip of the staff turned downwards!
“A feint!”
Fio exclaimed. The very moment he thought it might work, Leina’s sword moved the wrong way; she was also setting up a feint!
Faster than even Nowa’s staff, Leina’s sword struck the half-elf’s body.
“Kyah!”
The orange girl tried to avoid a direct hit, but her stance had been seriously compromised, and she nearly tumbled down!
Still, making expert use of her innate balance, she narrowly avoided falling. Her skirt fluttered with the motions though, and two cute buttcheeks jumped into Fio’s line of sight.
“Whuh?”
He couldn’t believe his eyes.
It had only been for a moment, but he had caught a glimpse of Nowa’s lower body.
[I’d have never believed...]
*Ba-dump*
His heart throbbed.
[Is this elven girl fighting without underwear on?
Come to think of it, the gaze of the spectators around us seems to be fixated a bit on her waist as well.]
*Gulp*
Swallowing what felt like a lump in his throat, he gazed at the battle even more intently than before.
“Kii! Kiki!”
The monkey predicted Leina’s attack and quickly moved to protect Nowa, but not without scolding her.
“You’re right, Lou, Nowa can’t get careless.”
Unaware of Fio’s gaze, Nowa took a moment to plan a new approach.
But Leina wouldn’t let her; in a flash, she sent out a sharp thrust.
“Kyauh!”
In an instant, Lou jumped in front of the blade, protecting the half-elf. Though able to stop the blade with his hardened body, the monkey's small build couldn't stop the impact as well!
Nowa’s balance was thrown into disarray once again, and placed her feet on the ground in an unnatural pose.
For only a small time, until her fluttering skirt slowly settled down, everyone’s eyes–except Leina’s and Nowa’s, that is—were concentrated in one specific place.
And then, silence.
Before long, the two restarted their intense fight, but the residents started talking in whispers:
“I knew it...”
“She’s going commando.”
When he heard them, Fio chose to cheer Nowa on:
“Nowa, don’t rush it. Take your time!”
“Yup. Nowa will do her best!”
Nowa ran to sneak around Leina, her skirt fluttering once again. The men who were watching also rushed to get behind the girl.
Because of the footsteps they made, her movements couldn’t be more obvious.
“Teyaah!”
Her opponent sharply crouched to dodge the attack Nowa had intended as a feint.
“There!”
Nowa’s staff aimed at the crouching Leina. In that position, she couldn’t avoid it.
So, she didn’t. What she did instead was to send a sharp blow at the looming weapon, with all the power she could muster.
“Augh!”
Feeling the intense shock transmitted to her arms, Nowa instinctively let go of her weapon!
“Oh no!”
Now that it had come to that, she could only fight bare-handed! Not missing how shaken the half-elf was, Leina threw in one more attack for good measure!
A powerful blow straight to the top of her head, which Nowa had no way to protect against.
Lou could only use its own body as a shield to protect her.
“Kyaaah!”
A violent shock ran through her body. Again, the monkey could protect her against blades, but not against the blows themselves.
Her knees buckled, and she fell on the stone pavement.
