Regarding the Senran Kagura collab, "pretty good" and "awesome!" won with 12v-48% and 8v-32%, followed by "could have been better" and "didn't really like it" with 4v-16% and 1v-4%.
Yaay, I just wished these kinds of collabs weren't that damn rare in the first place :3

Fun fact: I commissioned transcriptions for the short versions of these songs like half a year ago, when a CD was nowhere in sight. They got a decent amount of this song right (though "saa, DEAD or LOVE" isn't something anyone could have imagined)... but got pretty much pwned by Joan's, for good reason :p

ReplyDeletei do like this theme but yeah joan's had such a great beat to it and she's my favorite of the 3(an oni that really loves to p/arty with a colorful design and a chest that could rival cattleya and melpha, what's not to love?:3)
Deletethe 15th anniversary site is really cool. i hope for the anniversary we get an announcement of a figure line of the girls unlimited designs from megahouse and hobby japan,art from the main artist of the series characters and an ova that combine the series to give a conclusion to the original series(i like unlimited but i do feel the original series especially the anime needs a finale and a lot of characters should have more proper closure.) or a new game(maybe a soul caliber esque fighting game or a console rpg that includes characters from not only queens blade but other hobby japan series like seven heavenly virtues,bikini warriors,ruin explorers and seven mortal sins.:3)
ReplyDeleteYeah. The Rebellion Series felt like it needed a proper ending. Gimore upsetted me cause Shigui never got any screentime. Would really love to see a PVC of Menace in her Rebellion outfit.
ReplyDeletei would love to see menace's rebellion outfit get some appearance in anime form(i get why she didnt show up do to yuki gota being sick at the time but it added to the many reasons i dont like rebellion's direction.)and i hope the 3 grimoire ova is released just to give it a conclusion as well.(alongside sigui,goldie,despina and hansel/gretal have cattleya and menace show up since airi appeared in the 1st one and had some presence compared to leinas extremely pointless appearance.maybe have it lead to a conclusion to the original/rebellion series as a 15th anniversary gift or an actual queens gate adaptation since the snow queens is setting up a tournament with characters throughout the entire franchise.:3)

ReplyDeleteit would to me be the perfect way to end the original series since rebellion ended with the main characters going to ruins and teleporting away and grimoire implies that the snow queen is using snow whites mirror to bring fighters from the entire series as competitors(and gave the cool reveal of alicia being the cloaked tournament announcers in the 2nd season while explaining the angel kyuel as being the equivalent of nanael/other angels that announce the tournament instead of being a weird white rabbit expy in the 1st ova.) and i would love to see a battle royal that involves not only the original queens blade cast but also other hobby japan works as well that ultimately leads to a fight against the swamp witch and her actual death.(instead of airi taking her remains since the anime version has more personality and i'd rather airi's story end with her going back to cattleya and rana. :3)maybe leading to a queens gate adaptation as well as i think alice and dorothy's hunt for lewis could easily be animated(and its weird in spiral chaos that outside of her airship being mentioned her servants,lewis and even dorothy make no appearance at all though i did like the other characters that showed up.)

Deletereally cool to see someone have the same idea ive had since i feel a lot of hobby japans other works could easily be integrated into the queens blade universe like bikini warriors(i always imagined it taking place during the original series in a different area of gainos from leina's adventures.),seven heavenly virtues(could easily make them nanaels superiors or the ones who made nanael an archangel in rebellion and you could have their search for a messiah be the true/original purpose of the queens blade.)seven mortal sins(since menace,melona and liliana dont work for the swamp witch anymore with airi very likely joining suit the sins could be the witchs new recruits or since its stated that melona absorbed a demon king to control the undead in rebellion they could be going after her in revenge prompting the virtues to get involved.)or queens gate(we really havent had a proper adaptation and the stuff ive seen actually looks like it could be easily integrated and rewritten along with including other series like bayonetta,darkstalkers,street fighter and one piece in an equivalent to the gamebook's inclusion of tekken,wonder momo,blazblue and guilty gear.)
