“That will most definitely not be happening.”
Without any warning, the party heard the voice of an additional, unseen person within the room. The drifting steam between Fio and Leina began to swirl and soon, a girl appeared.
“I’m here to retrieve you, Milady.”
The girl, stark naked unlike the others, bowed to Fio.
“Eep!”
Seeing the intruder’s face, the boy’s expression stiffened instantly.
“!!!”
Leina’s instincts were quick to tell her this was an enemy.
“Airi! What are you doing here!?”
Tomoe’s hands reached for her katana but came up empty, reminding her that she was currently unarmed.

“It’s just as I said. I’ve come to retrieve Milady.”
Airi repeated, turning her back to the two warriors to face Fio.
“Shame, but there are no ‘Miladies’ here!”
Clenching her fists, the Vance heiress struck a fighting pose.
[No choice but to go at it bare handed if I want to protect Fio.]
“I’m not one for pointless struggles, so I’d appreciate it if you’d kindly stopped.”
Airi didn’t even turn around.
“There’s nothing pointless about it, I have a promise to keep.”
Keeping Airi distracted, Leina signaled at Tomoe to go fetch her equipment.

“Even if nine out of ten things Fio says are lies, so long as there remains one grain of truth mixed among the lies, then I will fight for that truth. I was asked to help, and so, I will do what I must!”
[If I can keep up the big talk and maintain Airi’s focus on me…]
“Very well. Then allow me to entertain you.”
No sooner had Airi spoken, a group of semi-transparent ghouls emerged from beneath her feet and charged.
“Kuh!”
Wary, Leina stepped forward and readied herself for the sudden impact… but the ghouls ignored her, rushing by the blonde fighter.
“Damn, they’re going for---!?”
*Kuheheheh*, the evil beings cackled in their high pitched voice, wrapping themselves around Tomoe.

“Why you!”
The foreigner reflexively moved to grab her amulets, but:
“Oh no!”
She had none on her.
And so by the time she noticed her mistake, she’d already been stripped. The bathrobe being designed for ease of putting on and taking off, failed to offer much protection…
“Accursed evil spirits!”
Tomoe quickly moved to shield her privates, hotly glaring at the creatures.

Now having successfully stripped off the only thing covering her, the lesser spirits wasted no time leaping up to claim their prize. They’d noticed Tomoe had no means to attack them, and so the spirits immediately set upon mercilessly groping and grabbing at the priestess’ bare body with their semi-materialized mitts.

Her waist, her unguarded and exposed breasts, the back of her neck, nearly nothing was left untouched by their spirits in their keen quest for fun.

“Damn youuu!”
Tomoe protested, but could do nothing against their numbers.
She had her hands full just trying to keep their cold and nasty fingertips from reaching her most important places.

“Erk!”
The humiliating act playing out before him made Fio burst out in yet another nosebleed.
[At this rate, I’ll be dead by blood loss before she takes me.]
“And with this, the Warrior Priestess is unable to fetch her equipment now.”
Airi looked down on the Hinomoto Warrior, although even she could feel an eyebrow twitch watching the ghouls have their way with the girl.
“Tomoe!”
Leina hurled herself at the maid, hoping to spare Tomoe from her onslaught. The wraith however, simply dodged her attack as if she’d never even been there to begin with, her feet still surrounded by spirit orbs.

“Your friend underestimates me.”
Talking to Tomoe, Airi pointed out her fingers to the blonde.
“Miss Leina! Don’t let them touch you!!”
Tomoe shouted, realizing Airi’s intent.
“Wha-?”
The wraiths fingertips twisted and stretched until nearly becoming tentacles before touching Leina’s body and… that was it, Leina simply collapsed to her knees, all energy drained from her.
“Aaaah, how wonderful. I expected nothing less.”
A jet-black maid uniform materialized around the wraith, her face both vacant and ecstatic looking.
“Miss Leina!”

Leina failed to respond to Tomoe’s call.
“Miss Leina!! Get up! We need to protect Fio!”
Airi pulled back the tendrils that were her fingers away from Leina’s body.
“You waste your breath, Miss Tomoe.”
*Whirl*, with a graceful twirl of her skirt, the maid turned to face the immobile Tomoe.
A scythe Tomoe knew she didn’t have just a moment ago was now in her hands.
“What ample first-rate essence Miss Leina was kind enough to provide me. I rather doubt she’ll be moving much for the next day or so. My, to not only materialize my outfit, but my scythe as well…”

*Swoosh* The redhead casually swung her scythe, then ominously gazed at Tomoe. Seeing the same fighting stance that Airi had held earlier during their preliminary now, the priestess unconsciously raised her guard, brushing away the fiends surrounding her.

“Are you quite certain you want to fight me here?”
“Mmgh…”
“I never hold back, whether my opponent is unarmed or not. Though if you insist, my friends here would be quite happy to watch… a Warrior Priestess fighting in the nude…”
Tomoe rushed to guard her privates yet again, noticing the wicked gazes the lesser spirits were giving her. Her new posture left her full of openings however and the lesser spirits were not one to let opportunity go by.
“Hiah!”
In a flash, the fiends she’d brushed off were on her again, their expressions even more vulgar than before. Without any amulets, it was all she could do just resisting their attacks, leaving her no opportunity to even attempt a purification chant.
“Do keep Miss Warrior Priestess occupied.”

Leaving Tomoe to them, Airi then turned back to the singer.
“Eeek!”
Meeting her gaze again, Fio let out a small cry.
“Milady, I’ve come for you.”
The wraith gracefully bowed, like a maid who was simply doing her duty.
“Y-You can forget it! I’m not going back there!”
His voice quivered.
“How troubling, you really must stop with these jokes, Milady. My Mistress will scold me.”
She gently brushed his lips with her fingertips. Even amongst all the warm steam, her cold, frozen touch was enough to make him shiver.
Sliding past his cheeks to his chest, the wraith’s fingers turned transparent and passed through his bathrobe, moving towards Fio’s heart.
“Kindly excuse my rudeness, Milady.”
And no sooner had she said those words, the boy collapsed, limp, his body drained of its vitality as well.

“Now then, I bid you farewell, Warrior Priestess.”
Innumerable lesser spirits suddenly rose from the maid’s feet, surrounding both her and her captive.
“What!?”
The ghouls, previously fixated on Tomoe’s curves, also rushed back to Airi, joining in on the flow of swirling spirit orbs.
“You won’t escape!”
Under the current circumstances and with Leina unable to move, there was no way Tomoe could allow herself to sit idly by as Fio was kidnapped.
Forgetting she had nothing on, she took her chance to reach out for the spirit whirlpool the moment she’d been released by the ghouls, yet…
“Ah!”
Her fingers caught nothing but empty air. The lightly glowing vortex of spirit orbs had no substance to it.
Using the spirit orbs as a smoke screen, Airi disappeared without a trace, same as when she’d come in. What few orbs remained eventually faded away as the mist cleared up.
“Kuh!”
The priestess clenched her fist and hit a nearby wall.
“I’d expect nothing less from a Wraith…”

  1. The Valentine vote results was ... interesting. Poor Ymir, I guess looking like a child among women will make people not want to give you chocolate that's meant for affection.

The top 2 on the other hand are surprising. Nyx is a odd since I didn't think was popular at all, but I guess she's actually a good Valentine? Well, I suppose if you take out Funikura out of the equation, Nyx is actually a sweetheart who only wants to cook, help her mother and be a good person. Unlimited even goes further with emphasizing her good side that wants to be a hero for justice and help out the weak who are bullied by the strong, so I do get people liking her.

Would have to be into tentacle play to get her to respond positively however, sadly.

Leina I could understand since aside from the anime making her seem like the protagonist of the franchise, she has a lot of good qualities in terms of personality, is a an all rounded good person (Lawful Good going by her actions and outlook on life) and keeps herself fit through swordsmanship. Last point might not matter since all the women keep themselves fit in QB and are gorgeous by default, but I can get why people like Leina and would give her chocolate. Helps that she's in 3 different series/ 2 continuities as well.

Kind of intrigued if the other protagonists would have a similar high ranking. Leina, Alicia, Annelotte ... who would win in that lovey-dovey poll?

  2. No Love for the Dwarf? That's bogus. No wonders she's all mean.
Should do a V-Poll with the Rebellion and Grimore girls someday.
