QB Battle 30.7

Mirrors: App + Media + Extra + Fanmade (update)
Sendspace: App + Media + Extra + Fanmade (update)

Corrected the language silliness from the April Fool's prank, and added the fanmade Nelliel and Mei-Fang (thanks to Okami31 for the pics):

I'll see if I can work in the next days on a tiny update for the extra songs and sounds options, as well as checking some more typos.

Coming next: Pyrrha, Goddess Athena and Lina Inverse, maybe not yet 3v3 challenge. Also, the compilation of the Illustrated Stories' 2nd volume.

Edit (04-10): The tiny patch with a few bugs checked, individual "versus character" music customizable (in the "music" file) and many characters with customizable sound effects (in the new "extra sound" file): Mirrors/Sendspace

  1. Good stuff. Please check my folder later when you've got time.

  2. Here's X-23...she is more acrobatic, agile and unpredictable than Wolverine, and a cold killer (goes berserk with a trigger scent created by Weapon X program, but you can have her going berserk a la Wolverine anyway)...although she packs the same regeneration capabilities than Wolvie, because of her body frame, she should have less life than him...and yeah, two claws on each hand, plus one claw on each foot...

    1. Nice, lots of cool pics!
For some reason, 4shared wants a login now, meh...

For the choices, I'm repeating Sekirei's Musubi, and as for the other two:
-Ranma 1/2 (nostalgia ftw, even if it wasn't a battle manga per se, she must have enough fighting pics)
-I-No (to solve the serious lack of GG girls, and because a guitar for a weapon would still be unique)

  3. Is there any way to get this game running on a Mac?

  4. The game's written in C#, and uses Microsoft Visual C++ (though it's not like it uses many resources or anything), so no, it probably can't run in a Mac.
I don't know much about Macs and stuff, but googling around, it seems your options might be using emulation, virtualization or native windows... whatever those are.

    1. Thanks for the quick reply! I used to have a Windows computer, but I idiotically traded someone off Craig's List for a Mac. It was stupid because the guy didn't bother to tell me that his Mac randomly shut off and when I called him about it he acted dumb.

Anyway, I hope to get another Windows computer soonish, and this great game will be one of the first I fire up on it!

    2. I-no is a good choice for a Guilty Gear girl. She's the dirtiest of the bunch. And a guitar is a pretty good weapon. You think she'll have her Megalomania? It did quite a bit of damage even if you blocked, and raised your guard gauge, causing attacks to do more damage on hit for a time. Splash damage plus add X to score next turn?

I love the images by the way. Can't wait to see how these turn out.

  5. Sorry, but I'm new to this, so I'm not sure what files I need to have the characters added... I extracted the Fanmade_upd_30.7.rar file but I get the feeling that there's more to it than that.

    1. However you extract the chars updates, make sure the new chars end up in the same "chars" folders as the others. And you'll need to get the new App version as well (preferably, the newest one), to get the necessary character files.
