Queen's Blade Unlimited Story: Chapter 6-1d

For this week's news, yesterday the 2nd QB collab in Senran Kagura was given a date, as it will be running from this 16th until March 1st, featuring Elina, Tomoe and Shizuka (her new book must have paid off :3), plus Nanael's clothes as bonus!

Moving on with Unlimited, we're suddenly getting a curve ball or two!?

Enjoy!

Michel’s Accident

“Please go after him.”
Michel asked her many times after Rana went out. However, Cattleya wouldn’t budge.
“It’ll be fine. It’s just a child’s tantrum. I’m sure he’s shut himself in his room.”
“Still, we should go and check up on him.”
“You don’t need to worry. I’m sorry about my son having bothered you.”
“I’m just fine. Rana is more important now.”
“Yes...”
The mother looked towards the door.

“He will cheer up if I talk to him before he goes to sleep.”
Michel gave a sigh of relief, seeing the expression of a caring mother again on her face.
“Before that though...”
The warrior suddenly leaned close to him. The overwhelming feeling of such a plump womanly body made his body involuntarily go stiff.
“I have to warm you up well for tonight... right?”
Her hand stroked his thighs.
“S-Stop that...”
He pushed away her hands, which were approaching his waist.
“You don’t want to? I shouldn’t be the only one feeling good.”
What her fingers were aiming for was the magic flute Cathedral, his other half. It was a magical item with an infinite healing power, the reason why Echidna had wanted him—though it was the same reason why she ended up letting go of him.
Cattleya had ended up charmed by the pleasure obtained by the flute’s ability.

“Y-You caaan’t... This...”
The feeling given to the flute was directly transmitted to his body. If one kissed it to play the instrument, the sense was conveyed as if his body was being kissed.
“It’s fine, isn’t it... just a little...”
Her fingers intertwined with his.
“Ah, don’t... I said stop!”
He could complain all he wanted, but he wouldn’t refuse... and Cattleya was perfectly aware of that fact.
“Michel, you too...”
The moment she touched the instrument, a sudden blast blew off the window.
Protecting him as soon as she could, she pushed him down.
Predicting some pain to happen after the attack, Cattleya armed herself with the flute.

...However, nothing happened.
“Eh?”
The fragments of the household goods, blown away by the blast, had been repelled away, without hitting the two of them.
“What... does this mean?”
Looking at the debris stuck to the wall, there was no doubt the shock had been real.
“Seems like an enemy attack, right?”
He answered, getting up after her.
His face had changed. He didn’t look like a kid anymore; he looked like a man.
[Michel can’t possibly have repelled the fragments, can he?]
Looking at where the blast might have come from, Cattleya stowed the instrument in her chest; if she had to fight, it was important to count on the flute’s effects.

“C’mere, Cattleya.”
The warrior trembled when she heard his tone—completely changed from a moment ago—and saw a dubious shine dwelling in his eyes. What she felt could very well be called instinctive fear.
“Get over here!”
With an arrogant tone, he pulled her close. He had now a powerful strength that didn’t belong in a slender, small boy.
Her cheeks blushed when she noticed she was being held tight by a man. Despite the fact, of course, that this wasn’t the time to be feeling shy.
As Michel’s urgency had implied, a second and a third blast came next to blow away the house. They were in the middle of the bomb blast and the heat wave, so they shouldn’t have been able to get away unscathed... but that was precisely what they did.
“This is an em’rgency. You, protect me.”
He gave her orders as he held her tight.
Staring at those strangely shiny eyes, she couldn’t disobey.
“I understand, my master...”
