“Uh oh, that angel again?”
“She's a persistent one, isn't she?”
Menace and Setra were watching the battle between Nowa and Nanael from high up in the sky. Setra had evacuated the princess the moment the Falling Star Kick had hit the mud in the arena.
“I’m surprised Saria was a boy.”
The princess’ gaze was focused on the still nude boy holding the Sword.
“I kept telling you he ain’t Saria, he said so himself.”
[I wonder how many times I’ll need to repeat this...]
Menace squinted, troubled.
“Well, it’s common for genders to be switched when one is reborn… isn’t that right?”
“Don’t ask me. I mean, is that more important than the match?”
[One would think Nanael’s reason for intruding would be more important than if he’s a boy or not.]
“Now, Milady, what should we do?”
“It’s obvious, isn’t it? That angel defiled our ritual, and ruined my fun.”
Her voice had just the slightest bit of anger.
“Good timing too, we’ll be sure to mete out fierce punishment for interrupting us.”
Out of the corner of her eye, Menace saw Leina's figure, who just came out of the mud.
***
The owner of the Sword of Unicorn being a boy had been a pleasant miscalculation for Nanael. The myriad wounds carved into his delicate body were worrisome... But, if she carried him to Heaven and fed him plenty of Holy Milk, she should be able to repair his skin until it was as smooth as a baby's bottom.
For the moment, though, her aim was to get the Sword. And before going and handing it to the Head Angel, Nanael wanted to try its effects on herself; if the Sword had the power to cancel any curse and restore one's health, it might be able to fix her small wing.
[And if I want to achieve that…]
“I can’t let you get in my way!”
From midair, the angel swung her hand down - towards the staff-wielding girl. Following her hand's movement, the Celestial Saber slipped past her opponent's staff - dealing a hard blow!
“Ooh my?”
[Now that’s interesting. Did the girl’s monkey jump in front of the sword?]
“Ooh, you brought an interesting pet.”
Nanael snorted when she saw the monkey had hardened its fur to defend against her attack.
“I don’t usually enjoy fights... but using your servant that way is intriguing.”
“Lou isn’t a servant. He’s my friend!”
“Ooh, so throwing your friends before oncoming attacks is a thing you forest elves do?”
She scoffed at her in a low voice, and softly rose up in the sky.
She had about half of her Holy Milk by now. She thought it would be harder to spill since the shape of the bottle had changed... but as it turned out, there wasn't much difference from her old bottle.
“Tsk.”
Nanael clicked her tongue, realizing how the Head Angel had subtly duped her. At that rate, she wouldn’t be able to play around haphazardly for much longer.
“Still, can you take this!?”
After rising slowly in the air, she came to a full stop and turned the tips of her toes towards the elf girl on guard below her.
“Again! Falling Star Kiiiiick!!”
Her descent was so fast, the atmosphere itself burned around her - Her tiptoes sparking red! It was the same powerful technique Nanael had used on her arrival to blow away the mud in the stadium!
***
[Not good!]
Nowa froze up before those glowing red toes coming at her.
[I can’t run away. Fio's right behind me - it'll hit him if I do!
...Could Lou block against it?]
On top of her shoulder, Lou stared at the upcoming angel in silence.
“Lou… Nowa must do this.”
Bracing herself for injury, she thrust her staff at Nanael’s feet!
***
“Nowaaa!”
Fio screamed.
The Falling Star Kick had immense power. Even if the half-elf tried to counter, the angel would surely come out on top!
“Kuh!”
The moment Fio tried to move, someone jumped between Nowa and Nanael!
*Thuud!*
A heavy shock wave shook off the mud stuck to her body, and golden hair like the sun danced in the wind.
“Sorry I was late, Fio. You don’t need to worry anymore.”
Leina was there, sword in hand. She had finally returned to the fight after getting caught in the mud tsunami Nanael had caused with her intrusion.
“Miss Leina… you’re amazing!”
Nowa admitted, admiring the courage and skill Leina needed to parry the Falling Star Kick.
“Yeah, you can somehow manage those kinds of straightforward attacks if you go from the side.”
Leina winked at the girl, and pointed her sword at the angel.
“Wha! Butting into somebody else’s business, are you!”
Nanael yelled; After her attack was parried, she ended up landing a little away from them.
“Does it come as a surprise to you? You ruined my match with Menace!”
The Exiled Warrior glared, keeping herself between the Angel and Fio and Nowa. She considered proposing a preliminary right there; but since her match with the princess was interrupted, her crystal ball hadn't returned yet.
Even so, the blonde was unusually angry - Even if all this meant was just a temporary hiatus in the match she had been enjoying with Menace.
“You might be a messenger of God and whatnot, but there are things you shouldn’t do. Like ruining somebody else’s match.”
“Hahan, so you mean you won’t let me get away with it? You lowly human!”
“That’s right. I won’t let you get away with it.”
Leina stared at the angel, her eyes full of fighting spirit.
“Hahahahahahahahahaha!”
Nanael exploded into a sneering laugh.
“Don’t get carried away just because you happened to avoid the Falling Star Kick!”
*Woosh*
She spread her wings, and rose into the air again!
“I don’t mind even if you make it 2 versus 1!”
Responding to the angel’s voice, the Celestial Saber circled around her two foes like a bird of prey.
Nanael had plenty of reasons to be confident. As long as she was airborne, neither Leina nor Now would be able to land a decisive blow!
“Nowa… you know, right?”
“Yup, she’s probably preparing the same attack again.”
The two fighters were able to predict Nanael's moves just by seeing her fly up into the air.
Nanael sorely underestimated them. Being able to fly, she didn't think for a moment she would lose to someone stuck on the ground.
That was what they were counting on.
Conceited opponents were nothing to fear. No matter how strong a body the angel had, she would naturally end up hitting her limits if she kept receiving one blow after another.
“Finishing blow: Falling Star Kiiiiick!!”
Along with her yell, Nanael’s toes descended upon them.
[The same skill wouldn’t work twice on us. Not to mention how foolish it is to keep spamming her strongest technique.]
The half-elf was no longer afraid. She calmly fixed her eyes on Nanael’s path, and thrust her staff.
Matching the other, Leina also unleashed her sword towards the sky.
Nowa’s staff didn’t lose to the shockwave created by the Falling Star Kick, and knocked against the angel’s leg.
“Kuh!”
Even with the Holy Milk splashing on her body, Nanael twisted her body to avoid a direct hit.
Ending up in the trajectory of Leina’s stab.
“Goddamn female monkeyyys!”
Indeed, there was no way for the angel to avoid it.
Leina’s sword tore through the defenseless white camisole, the snow white meat hills bursting open from their confines.
*Glup*
Fio - who had seen all the details from up close - held his crotch despite himself. The figure of the angel, Holy Milk splashed on her body, reminded him of something totally different, forcing him to try to cope with his body’s urges more and more.
“A-At times like this…”
***
“Seems it will be our turn soon.”
“Yes, Milady.”
As the princess watched the three fight from the sky, She got ready to take a deep breath…
“Let’s have everyone bow down before the might of the Amara Kingdom.”
***
“Don’t get cocky now, you hear!”
Shaking, with her breasts wet by Holy Milk, Nanael kicked off the ground and rose up in the air in one motion!
Her torn camisole no longer worked as clothing. Not only was it showing her well-proportioned twin hills, but also her belly button, the drops of milk hanging from it, and even her polka-dots underwear, polluted with stains from the cloudy liquid.
The angel shook her fist.
“Basically, isn’t 2 versus 1 unfair! I’m pissed off now, so I’ll ask for divine punishment to befall on you!”
“And what kind of divine punishment would that be?”
She suddenly heard a voice above her, and quickly looked up at the night sky.
“For the crime of disgracing our battle, bow down before the might of Amaraaaaaaaaa!!”
From her vantage point up in the sky, a shockwave left the princess’ mouth.
“Hiah!!”
The spectators got excited all at once when they saw their beloved princess reappear.
“Long live Lady Menace!”
“Glory to the Amara dynasty!”
“Menace! Menace!”
With that loud reverberation shaking the air, the bottle hanging by the angel’s waist started vibrating...
“D-Don’t, aah!”
The Holy Milk was falling out of the bottle to escape the fine vibrations—something Nanael desperately tried to stop.
Now that Menace had appeared, Leina’s group had swiftly regained their advantage.
“Let’s go, Nowa!”
“Yup!”
The angel had fallen to the ground after receiving Menace’s Shout, and the two wasted no time in unleashing consecutive attacks at her!
“Y-You cowaaards!!”
The tattered Nanael raised her voice under the continuous barrage, holding the now-empty bottle!
“If it's come to this, I’m going to get serious, for real now!”
She thrust her right hand towards the sky.
“Punish these villains who aren’t afraid of god! Fall, o’Thunder!”
Despite there being no thunderclouds in the sky, a streak of light listened to her request - coming down from Heaven!
...Directly at her.
“Huh… why…?”
Having taken the full hit from the thunder, Nanael just stood there, hair frizzy and with a blank expression on her face.
(Time is up, Nanael. On top of spilling all the Holy Milk, what right do you have to request divine punishment so casually?)
The Head Angel’s voice sounded inside the blue-haired angel’s head.
(I went through the trouble of adding more Holy Milk, I even changed the bottle... But it's only natural you'd lose if you're so conceited!)
“I… I’m sorry, Head Angel…”
[It’s frustrating, but I'm out of Holy Milk, so this is it. Besides, not even an angel would have a chance in a 3 versus 1 fight.]
“Kuh, mark my words! I WILL be getting the Sword of the Unicorn!”
The angel loudly declared to the boy - who was holding his crotch, having trouble with his body's instincts - before flying away at tremendous speed!
***
The spectator's voices - celebrating Menace’s victory - resounded at the back of the retreating angel.
“Long live Princess Menace!”
“Long live our Princess!”
Among the cheers, the princess on top of the scepter slowly came down to land in front of Leina’s group.
“She killed the mood, didn’t she?”
Menace smiled at Leina.
“Yeah. It’s the first time something like this has happened to me.”
The blonde also smiled back to the princess, and sheathed her sword.
Finally, the crystal balls returned to each fighter's hands - as though they had been waiting for the battle to end. The bright magic characters within showed their match to be a tie due to the intrusion.
“Here you go, Saria.”
Menace handed the bandage she had been wearing to the nude boy, still fidgeting while trying to hide his crotch.
“T-Thanks…”
He hurried to wrap the bandage and cover his naughty bits.
"You keep getting weirder and weirder clothes, don't you..."
Leina had to stifle a laugh.
“I’ll leave the Sword of Unicorn and Saria with you, Miss Leina.”
“Oh? Are you giving up, Milady?”
“I’m not giving up~. It’s just…”
Menace intended to respect Fio’s wishes, following his previous conversation with Nanael. He had said himself that he was Leina’s possession, and it was not forthcoming of royalty to take away somebody else’s belongings by force.
The royal way would have been to have Leina decide to hand both the Sword and Fio to the princess out of her own free will.
“At any rate, with no mud, the Holy Arena is no more. We’ll have to hold off on our fight for the time being as well.”
“Hmm…”
It seemed they - somehow - settled it unilaterally, though Leina wasn’t completely satisfied. The same went for Nowa, who had come that far to rescue the people kidnapped by Setra.
“Menace, I want to propose something to settle this.”
“What is it? I thought we had settled it already.”
“Just promise me one thing.”
Leina told the brunette again of the circumstances that had led her there. That the families of the people that had been kidnapped from the neighboring oasis were waiting for them.
With things as they were, the reputation of the Amara dynasty might take a dive as well.
“You wouldn’t want to be known as a country that kidnaps people, right?”
“Naturally, I don’t.”
Menace declared, and with her declaration, she mobilized Setra and all the Nubias. Their orders were to invite the families to the Khan Oasis immediately.
“Without people, there is no country. How thoughtless of me, I forgot that people need their families. You have my thanks.”
“You made a good decision, Princess Menace.”
“Now then, Miss Leina, let’s go.”
“Huh?”
“Let’s get the dirt off our body. After that, we’ll take our time enjoying the many secret rituals handed down in the Amara dynasty~”
“I-I’d like some underwear first.”
Leina muttered, blushing in shyness.
