Queen's Blade: Return of Amara, Ch 4-j

And here we finish this chapter and this fight, with a pic that is totally normal, thanks for asking!
Next week, we compile the first novel!

Enjoy!

*Clunk…*
With a dry sound, the Sword fell from Leina’s thighs to the stone pavement.
Now that the weapon had materialized, the thin cloth that covered Leina’s waist was ripped off, and anyone behind her would see her trained buttcheeks bare. With no loincloth to cover her front either, things could go wrong.
[No, scratch that, they DID go wrong.]
All the men watching the fight around Fio were either slouching or wiping their nosebleeds.
Still, none tried to jump at Leina and Nowa, perhaps because everyone had pledged their loyalty to Menace, or perhaps they were all perfect gentlemen…
[In any case, that doesn’t change the fact that now is my chance.]
Fio held his breath and ran as quickly as his legs could take him—aiming for his other half, the serenading blade, Sword of the Unicorn.

Its size was the largest he had seen so far.
“Yeah, it’s hard to run.”
As a result of the Sword materializing, a similar change had occurred in his body.
With every time he rubbed against the fabric during his run, an indescribable feeling was welling up.
“Lady Menace is calling for you. You should come obediently, or else…”
Leina reacted automatically when she saw Fio jumping out from the rest of the audience, writhing in agony. She didn’t seem to care about her own appearance.
He ignored her warning, and picked up the sword. The moment he held the huge sword that greatly exceeded his height, he felt a hot, hard lump springing from deep inside him. The sword should be too heavy to lift with one hand, but it felt as light as air to him.
[I’m not old enough to complain about my body feeling heavy.]

Fio grabbed the sword with a backhand grip, nearly twice his own height, and stood between Leina and Nowa.
“If you want a fight, I’ll be your opponent.”
He swallowed up the doubts in his throat.
[Only one thing left to do: making Leina’s lips touch the Sword.
Can I even do it?
No, I HAVE to do it. I’m the only one who can return Leina to her senses now.]
“Lou!”
Without letting the warrior out of his sight, he addressed the monkey, still protecting the fainted Nowa behind him.
“Lou, this is to protect your mistress: lend me your strength!”

He didn’t even know if the animal understood his words.
“Lou, jump into Leina’s chest. That will be enough.”
Willing to give it a try regardless, the boy whispered the strategy to the monkey.
“Ki-kii!”
His intention might have gotten through, because Lou used him as a springboard to jump into Leina’s chest.
Distracted by the jumping monkey, the guard around Leina’s feet got lax.
“Good job!”
That was what Fio was waiting for.

He quickly crouched and made a big sweep with his right foot, aiming at Leina’s ankle.
“Ow!”
A pained scream jumped out of his mouth.
It was no wonder, really; both her legs were protected with hard metal armor. Kicking at them while barefoot was nothing short of stupid.
“I already knew this would be impossible.”
As he complained, frowning in pain, Leina staggered precariously, having lost her balance with the unexpected surprise attack. And as if to make doubly sure, Lou clung to her chest.
[I can’t miss this chance.]

Enduring the pain in his legs, he shoulder tackled the warrior.
Throwing himself into Leina’s armor made a pang of pain run through his shoulder.
“Kuh!”
He gritted his teeth to put up with the pain once again and pressed against Leina, putting his weight behind it.
*Woosh*
Preoccupied so far trying to stop Lou’s actions, the warrior lost her balance and fell on the pavement.
[I did it!]
After Leina fell face up, Fio jumped on her belly. He wasn’t about to give her a chance to get back up.
“Thanks, Lou. I’ll take it from here!”
Obeying his words, the monkey moved away from Leina’s chest.
“Leina! Come back to your senses!”
Straddling the trained woman, he pushed the handle of the Sword he was holding towards Leina’s lips!

There was a burst of color.
The pure color expanded like a shockwave. It spread like a ripple from her lips, turning her brown skin into a beautiful, healthy pink color, her silver hair into a gold reminiscent of the sun.
And finally…
“Fio?”
Life returned to her eyes.
