I wish I could remain positive and say that I'm just not over the design dissonance yet but this whole "Unlimited" reboot has been a disaster. How they managed to screw up even worse than with "Grimoire", I don't know.
I guess I should say something somewhat positive. As just a design, I think it's okay for the most part. But it just feels so distinctively not like Ymir...like a good number of the other redesigns. A leotard thong and a bridal motive. Granted, Ymir's "Rebellion" design was also somewhat of a stretch but it worked out well enough by the end.
Ah, finally my favourite lolidwarf gets an unlimite- Whoa, wait, she's getting married?! And in such a revealing outfit...?
This one really smacked me like a sack of bricks. I thought her Rebellion outfit was a stretch, given how (relatively) conservatively she dressed in the original, but /this/? Hot damn, sweetie, at least cover up your crotch a little. ~u~

This clearly demonstrates poor resource management on the part of the designers. I refer to the ribbons, of course. Having got to the last character, they suddenly realised they had several dozen that needed to be used up or risk next year's ribbon budget being slashed. They even put two on the axe... (Yet, oddly enough, they've dispensed with the ones on her panties. Where's the logic in that??)
Was going to say more, but as Ymir's the topic of the current poll, I'll save it for later. :)

I love Ymir's redesign so damn much and easily one of the best from Queen's Blade Unlimited
