Queen's Blade 2008 Summer Designs: Melpha (1)

For the F.S. artbook poll, "I'd love to get a look at it" won with 34v-62%, followed by "pretty neutral on it" with 9v-16%. After that was "preordered the book long ago!" with 5v-9%, and then a tie between "not really my kind of artbook" and "who's F.S.?"at 3v-5%.
Is it too obvious if I say I did get it? It's pretty cool tho, lots of rare pictures you just don't find everywhere.

Then next poll, we couldn't resist addressing the Unlimited reboot, would that have been your go-to choice?

So now we start with Melpha, introduction page with a few obscure tidbits! A noteworthy detail though, is the fact that some of the finer text was handwritten and blurry as all heck, so we had to resort to mercenaries (i.e. hired help) to clear it up for us. These are the kind of binds having a Japanese speaker on board would easily solve, oh well...

    Melpha seriously, who likes this character? she must be the only Qb character without a fan.
    Because, you know, Leecherboy likes Irma, right? :p

      Melpha is 100% a better character than Sigui ever was. The problem is that Melpha had way tougher competition for popularity than Sigui ever had. Melpha really could have used more backstory or something to help out, she's one of the few directly nice ones in QB and yet we never go into how she's just kind of a wet blanket yes man who does what she says despite she herself not fully believing in everything they tell her to say. Which would have been interesting.

      True, but I still prefer Sigui and her love for burning people, she reminds me of Warhammer Inquisition ^^

      I think Melpha is kinda of... just there, I don't hate her, but I'm not a huge fan either.

      I do Agree she's much better than Siggy though, To me, Siggy was a wasted oportunity, she could have been a better antagonist (with her whole deal about being religious and going too far with it, She could have been something like Frollo. or something).

    Jontahan, i like melpha alot. she is interesting to me, but she shoul've been worked out better story wise.

    Too bad i cant draw that well, i would've loved to make some art of her.

      Ah, I found someone who likes her, well, I can say it know: every QB characters is liked by at least one person.
