Update (07-19): Version 3 with a Suchie-Pai glitch corrected.

Update (07-08): Version 2 with a few bugs corrected.

Mirrors: App Media (update) + Extra + Fanmade
Sendspace: App + Media (update) + Extra + Fanmade

She kept us waiting for a while, but here's the spoilt princess, Kaguya! She's mostly based on the old Lost World's Dalclion XII, and her skill with the sword might not be as fancy as it looks... but beware of her Hourai Shots, that can make short work of anyone! (in fact, her system's unexpectedly complicated, so I hope I didn't make any blunder with it ^^U)

  1. Thanks for the update! However, I can't get the music to play and I get the following error messages: "Error when playing music. The resulting error was this: The driver cannot recognize the specified command parameter." & "Error when playing music. The resulting error was this: The specified device is not open or is not recognized by MCI". Other than that I can still play the game. Is there a fix for this? Thanks again!

    1. Hm, is that when playing the default music, or is it that you've added music on your own? (maybe with spaces in the name?).

Truth is, I'm borrowing the music module since the old way seemed to give many people trouble... but still, I Googled a bit and it seems it's a recurring problem sometimes, maybe you're missing some component for playing music on your pc...?

    2. It's for playing the default music (for character select and battle screens). I never added any other music or changed anything. The music problems started around version 37~ish of the app (can't recall the exact one) when I was playing it on Windows XP when it was playing the music in a wonky way. I've gotten a new PC with Windows 8.1 and it's given the error I mentioned above and won't play music at all. Dunno what component I'd be missing to play it.

Was there ever an update for the music module? I've gotten every update, which are mostly just the updated app version and new characters, but don't recall any update to the music. Thanks again.

    3. Hmm, you can see each version's changes in the readme.txt, but the most important update related to the music seems to have been at 21.7, when I changed it because of incompatibility between 32/64 bits versions...

But, if it's failing on Windows 8, I have no idea how to go about it :p Maybe trying a "Windows 7 compatibility" option, or something...?

    4. i am using windows 8 too, no music error, but when trying to continue (when challenge mode or smth) it followed with an error (the game crashed), same when trying to watch replay..

i will add screenshot later, good job btw keeping this awesome app updated, many thanks!

  2. From what I can tell, the Hourai Shots leave your opponent open for a free hit. Is that what it does?

    1. Basically, yeah, though "making them only jump for one turn" is usually what any connecting attack does anyway.

  3. I just saw it do some serious splash damage too.
    Took off 10 bp.

    1. Yup, if you use 10 "moon energy" points, you get that. She's kinda powerful that way.

    1. Ooh right, a rare bug with Balrog's 22, I'll test later today that the solution I found works properly, and post an update up there, thanks.

  6. Nope, not this time, you can see from the first comment it's the same error that happened to Alex.

Do you know if it was some new music you added, or did you just change something about your media player...? :S

  7. I've always had a diverse soundtrack with my version.
So it may be that I had a bit of an error, I'll check on my end.
