OMG I did not know that! That little bit of background story about the wars between the Vance family and the Queen really shed light on how monumental the current events are! Not even the anime made it clear who the Vance aristocracy really was. As far as I was concerned, they just ruled a small county. And the wall too! The artwork of Claudette on the Great Wall just made a whole lot more sense!
ReplyDeleteAre there any other anecdotes regarding the world of Queen's Blade that you think would positively effect my Queen's Blade experience?!
I'd recommend the Perfect Visual Novel for that...I'll get to writing a review on it soonish! So look forward to it!

Final Agent, do you have a website/blog?
^ I think he kinda means reviewing it in this very blog. Which is pretty fine by me, the guy does so much stuff for us already, maybe I should make him co-author of the blog if he wants to collaborate every now and then.
Delete"affect" Excuse me for that typo.
ReplyDeleteWho or what is that pictured on page thirty-one, with the artist's after-talk?
ReplyDeleteAn original character, she appears in Chapter 5 briefly too...
Delete"Hey, leecherboy. I just wanted to tell you, while I was playing challenge mode with the Queen's Blade Battle App, I came across this message after losing a battle. It happened right after the game asked if I wanted to continue. Here is the message":
ReplyDeleteUnhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
Index was outside the bounds of the array.
"I was playing Yuit & Vante at the time. I will give you another update if I come across something you can fix. Until then, I will continue to enjoy the game."
"Hey leecherboy, I got the same message again as I stated above when starting QBB Tag Tournament. Again when selecting Yuit & Vante but this time in a tag with Katja. I always seem to get messages like this when it has anything to do with Yuit & Vante. Try it and see if the same happens to you."
ReplyDeleteWell, "index outside of bounds" doesn't really tell me much, but if it's just after selecting Yuit & Vante, I'll try and see what's wrong, thanks.
DeleteIf you get the same one again, see if you can get a bit more info about the error, especially if you can get a few lines of "at QBBattle.Form..." or a line number or something.
"Hey leecherboy, so I tried to attempt to get the same message again. At first when I selected Yuit & Vante and lost a battle in challenge mode, nothing happened and the score board(The one you type your name in if you get a high score) appeared and returned me to the main menu."
Delete"After playing a second time and losing, the game asked if I wanted to continue and started a countdown. I selected continue and the same message as before appeared, but this time I copied what was written in the scroll down box below it. You can see for yourself below."
See the end of this message for details on invoking
Deletejust-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
I wanted to note that the message above only appeared when I lost a battle in challenge mode a second time with any character(turns out it wasn't just Yuit & Vante).
DeleteI believe if you lose in challenge mode you are meant to return to the main menu, so the first time nothing happens must be normal, but for some reason repeating challenges and losing a second time causes the countdown box to appear and asks if you want to continue.
If you select to continue, the message from before also appears.
It also appears when selecting Yuit & Vante and Katja in a Tag Tournament, even before you start the first tag match, preventing progress.
Oh, that's better, thanks. I've been kinda busy lately, but I'll try to fix that.
