Queen's Blade Unlimited OVA announced!

So, you guys know how we haven't getting QB news for a couple months? Well, apparently they were working on the next OVA for this year... that surprisingly isn't Grimoire or even Rebellion, but a new reboot of the franchise, that brings new designs with it.
In fact, a pic just surfaced from this month's HJ magazine:

What will this OVA actually mean for the series...? (besides longer hair for everyone, lol)
More news as it develops!!

Queen's Blade 2008 Summer Designs: Claudette (3)

On the "loneliest QB girl in most dire need of a childhood friend" poll, Nyx won with a 30v-57%, followed by a last-minute tie between Nowa and Aldra with 11v-21%.
I reckon my partner wanted Nowa to win; I guess she deserves it, but then again, she's the kind of girl who could stay cheery through worse, don't you think?

Next poll, you guys know about the FS artbook that came out like last month, right? Any particular opinions on that?

And so, we finish with lady Lord of Thundercloud!

Enjoy!

Next: Melpha!

Queen's Blade 2008 Summer Designs: Claudette (2)

(In case you actually noticed, yeah, screwed up last week and made the post as "2006 Winter", when this is from the "2008 Summer")

Regarding the previous poll about great power coming with great responsibility cost, "I'd rather keep my pride" won with 19v-39%, followed by "bring it on if I'll become strong!" with 15v-30% and then "I'd be okay with somethings if I can be super strong" with 14v-29%.
Nothing like good ol' confidence, right?

For the next poll, if any of the more "lonely" QB gals could have gotten a friend, who'd you preferred to?

Aaand, here's another dosis of Claudette!

Enjoy!

Queen's Blade 2008 Summer Designs: Claudette (1)

Regarding the poll about armor practicality whose choices got increasingly crazier, it ended with a tie between "a bit of design isn't bad" and "intimidate and dazzle everyone all you want!" with 17v-36%, followed by "100% decorative, 0% practical, AHAHAHAHAHA!" with 8v-17%, and lastly "100% practical, 0% decorative, so long as I survive" with 4v-8%.
Not many survivors among you lot, lol?

Now next poll, is power worth some unpleasantness?

And here we begin with Claudette! For a change, we're translating the introduction thingie, that has a few details about how she came to be. Since it's kinda long too, that's all you're getting this week, pity that :p

Enjoy!

Now, you might have noticed that it says "Chrona" was the proposed initial name of our redhead. Leaving aside other possible romanizations (Krona? Clauna?), it does sound different than her sisters' all right... but the other day we happened to find some messages in the ancient Yahoo QB group where it all started, and our legendary predecessor mentioning that one of the earliest QB chars was called "Celica"... was that Leina's original name? Hmm...

Queen's Blade : Commissions Part 6

Man, it's been a while!
Here we are, back again for yet another installment of Final Agent's Commissions' Spotlight!
Where we basically just post stuff we had commissioned over the course of the last few months and share if with you all in exchange for a well-earned rest/intermission.

Queen's Blade : Rare Stuff Part 4

Well that was quick, welcome again to :
Rare Stuff with Final Agent

Where we sift through some of the rarer QB junk we have that still hasn't been
scanned and present it to you!

From the first edition release of the QB Rebellion Zero Manga
But first, let's take a look at those poll results :

The new year is upon us, which QB will you be trying to see in your
first dream in hopes of good luck?
1rst - Alleyne (Representing the Hawk, as the QB girl with a bird motif) (28 Votes / 50%)
2nd - Cattleya (Representing the Eggplant, due to a certain OVA) (14 Votes / 25%)
2nd - Risty (Representing Mt.Fuji, as the tallest QB girl) (14 Votes / 25%)

The polls weren't even close this time, looks like the elf love among you guys is still going strong.
I personally was too sick to even remember what I dreamed about this year, sad stuff.

Next poll! I hear a lot about armor practicality being first and foremost for certain people, but it seems they often forget humanity was not always very concerned with the idea of 'keeping practical' themselves. So what do you think? If you were to go in battle, would you prefer your army focus on 100% practicality or would you be perfectly fine going in with just a very pretty outfit and nothing but your wavering sanity?
 Let us know!

More Rares after the break...
