Added Catwoman (thanks to Okami31 for the pics) and updated Cammy's images with more professional-looking ones (thanks to etherblade).

The files you modify in the "config" folder won't be overwritten by updates anymore, and most of the choices in Online battles won't ask both parties now, except for gimmick selection and color selection (like Luna Luna's or Darth Vader's).
By the way, if you want to fight online against other players, be sure to join the Hamachi channel featured at the top of the page.

Coming next: Choosing your own music for each screen, Bleach's Yoruichi & Sui-Feng. (I'll postpone the Night Owl earning Gimmick Points when leveling up until I understand those points better).

Finished the Warhammer guys with Kal Jerico, and now Night Owl can choose Gimmicks (ninja tools) to use in the fights.

As for fanmade characters, beware of the bee showdown: not only Q-Bee (thanks to Charles for gathering pics), but also the "Killer Bee", Cammy.

Q-Bee was quite a challenge (because there isn't much artwork depicting her as in the middle of a battle), but borrowing a lot from the Birdman with Lance and Net concept character, she became an atypical flying character.

Coming next: Night Owl gaining extra BP or gimmick points when leveling up, and some more customization through the "config" folder. It'd be nice if there was Ivy too, but who knows.

QB Battle 19.7

An update that changed some of the battle's inner workings, hopefully there's no difference.

Added Warhammer's Ephrael Stern, and thanks to Bill, not just the fanmade Balrog from Tolkien's LotR:

But also the Triceratops and LW's Mutant Hill Giant:

Due to a revision of the wraiths' draining, Airi and the other two might be quite stronger now, so watch out for that. Also, renamed Swashbuckler into Lilli and Sarah into Sara, so I'd recommend deleting the "Swashbuckler" and "Sarah" folders.

Coming next: Kal Jerico, Q-Bee and the ninja's gimmicks. Also, Soul Calibur's Ivy is around the corner, so look forward to her sometime soon.

Coming next: probably the last two from Warhammer, Kal Jerico and Ephrael Stern, the Mutant Hill Giant and the Triceratops, and maybe the ninja's gimmicks.

(Also, this version might or might not fix the "scrolling bars" problem in Windows 7 computers, let me know about that).

Edit4 (03/14): A silly mistake might have caused some of the media files not to have the "captain liliana_10.jpg", so if you get a matrix error while playing with her and that file is not in her folder, download one of the "media update" files from the previous version (thanks to somagu for checking it for me)

QB Battle 18.9

The biggest update ever, I guess.

First off, the recently released Captain Liliana and Branwen (based on LW's Daniel the Pirate and Lizardman):

And adapted from Warhammer Warriors, Kharn and Tyranid Warrior:

And thanks to Bill's help, LW's Oowell and the fanmade Retarius (a classic opponent of the Secutor):

Plus, there's Dark Echidna, a fanmade recoloring of Echidna as her 2p color, also by Bill.

The original Warhammer Warriors didn't have attack modifiers and the matrixes of all characters were practically the same one, so for variety's sake, I adapted their attacks and matrixes from established characters with similar "traits". For example, Kharn is basically a "ruthless champion", so I adapted him from Hathor and Claudette's books, and the Tyranid Warrior is a "nightmarish assassin", so I chose the Skeleton and Melona for him.

Coming next: quite possibly, Warhammer's Captain Leonatos and Eldar Exarch, besides more extra characters.

Edit: fixed Flaming Cherry and Dark Echidna glitching when being disarmed.

Edit2 (02/23): The What is QB? page was updated with the announcement of Queen's Gate Sen Tokugawa.

Edit3 (02/27): The next update will have dinosaurs in it. As you'd expect, they'll be tough to beat.

QB Battle 18.3 fix

Fixed a couple of minor bugs that could happen with several superheroes, and a glitch that happened when player 2 lost a weapon with some characters: Megaupload/Sendspace

Edit2: To be expected in the next update, besides a few more extra characters, Captain Liliana and Branwen.

QB Battle 18.3

Fixed some minor bug that could happen at tag battles, and added the Gunslinger, from Lost Worlds, and the Secutor, a fan-made character.

The Gunslinger is close to what Queen's Gate Alice would become (though with various differences), and the Secutor is a gladiator who can ask for mercy if he's losing.

Coming next: from Warhammer Warriors, Kharn the Betrayer and Tyranid Warrior (after the Marvel heroes, it's time to adapt another incompatible series).

Captain Liliana and Branwen will be released in a matter of days; as usual, they'll be added as soon as possible.
