So, you know how I complained last time about the story being boring and not featuring any of the new characters (especially Sankara)? Well, they might have been listening, coz we got an admittedly more interesting tale this time around, with a few of the new gals thrown into the mix!

Queen's Blade Limit Break Story Event Part 1 + Spoilers

So, as we saw yesterday, the story event we were kinda waiting for a few months just dropped... but you unlock more of the story by doing some tasks. Which wouldn't be much of a problem, if one of those tasks (reaching 500 bond in total with your chars) didn't need you to either buy bond packs to clear (apparently you barely get any bond material while playing normally), or buy story event packs to skip.

So that's why I'm posting just the first part of the story, and the summary the very game provides:

If any of you fellas feel like spending some munny to unlock the full story (1 buck to per task skipped so far), do us a favor and record it, then let me know so we can share it with everybody else. Beware though, I'm going to go ahead and predict that it'll take around 5 bucks to unlock the story, either because there are more anti-f2p tasks like this, or because the tasks will get costier to skip as the story develops.

However, this doesn't seem a QB story worth paying for, if you ask me (and you know I've paid for all sorts of QB stories). If it featured the LB versions/costumes of our girls, or if it introduced any of the new gals somehow (especially Sankara, yeeeah), maybe I could be convinced, but a random armor? ...Not really, no.

Queen's Blade White Triangle Event 4-3

For the modern fair poll, "Elina in a Tunnel of Love with Leina" won with 15v-44%, followed by "Tomoe tasting all the sweets" with 12v-35%, and last was "Melona in a rollercoaster" with 7v-21%.

Lol, I wonder how willing Leina would be in the situation tho...

And we ask about the anticipated new game!

Now, after the kind of a waste that we saw last chapter, what's been going on meanwhile...?

Queen's Blade Limit Break released!

So apparently I don't understand what the concept of "noon" is, but anyways, here's a vid I just made of the tutorials and some rolls.

Also we might get details about fanservice thing (the Service Shots) on the 14th.

Even if I got some 5 starts, might not be very optimized coz all of them are damage dealers? As you'd expect from this kind of game, there's also warriors (balanced), support (heal/debuff) and tanks. Hmm...

Queen's Blade Limit Break releases tomorrow!

So the release date was finally announced, and it's kind of as overnight as WT was!

I wasn't very sure about what "around noon on the 10th" meant japan-wise, but it might be around 22 hours from now, probably!

Queen's Blade Limit Break: gameplay picture, more chibis!

So as to rip the bandaid as soon as possible, yep we got a pic of how the gameplay will look, and yep it looks like a basic AFK:

We also got some chibis for the remaining two attributes/elements, Fight and Break, that work like the typical antagonistic Light and Dark:

Queen's Blade Limit Break boosts past 50k preregistrations!

So yeah, like they claimed back in the game's announcement, getting to 50k was the last goal to get all the preregistering rewards (we might get this last one in the mail when service starts?), and they've started featuring which 5 star gal belongs to which attribute. I might have mentioned before somewhere that these three are Soul, Power and Tech... but we'll probably end up calling 'em Water, Fire and Forest because obviously :p

So, chibis all the way!

Queen's Blade Limit Break new titles (2)

Allegedly took us a while, but here are the rest of the LB titles (for now? Still waiting on Yuit & Vante and Al...)

First off, there's the Mystifying Diva Luna Luna!

The first part is written kinda like the "Phantom" part of Rebellion Maria's title, but in this case it should refer to how she keeps changing between her white and dark forms. Funny that she upped her singing game too, apparently.

Next, the Red Dragon Warrior Branwen!

Unlike last time (Enslaved Dragon Warrior), this time the title doesn't refer to her being a "Dragon Warrior", but a "warrior with a red dragon" (aka her pal Usher).

Third, there's the Angel of Divine Might Laila! (see more after the jump)

Queen's Blade Limit Break new titles (1)

So after a few hours of deliberation with my partner, here's some of the new titles our Rebellions got in Limit Break!

First, there's the Dashing Captain, Captain Liliana:

We tried not to repeat "captain" for this one, but it *is* clearly part of her name and it'd be silly to give her any other title, so there we go.

Second, the Priestess of Blue Flames, Sigui:

The "priestess" part is the same as Melpha's title. There could also be a pun like "blue flames" also represent in jp a calm person that is actually passionate... but in a world where blue flames are actually possible, that'd kinda be the lamest interpretation.

And last for this installment is the Dazzling Blade Maiden, Mirim:

Not sure if her hyper vibration thingie is supposed to shine now, and it's funky that she's not a "valkyrie" anymore, but hey, don't ask us.

Queen's Blade Limit Break styles info!

So in the last few days, the Limit Break twitter has been posting pics of the gals in the different styles. Besides the Unlimited style that we're quite familiar with, there's the Legend (OG) style, with funky differences like Clau not being a redhead and possibly Lou, Setra and Delmore still missing?

The Rebellion style, with the quite puzzling absences of Al and Yuit & Vante:

And the new one in this game, the Limit Break style redesigning those Rebellion characters:

On that note, they've also started releasing highlights of these redesigns, with Annelotte having the new title "Golden Princess Knight":

And our very funky Shizuka, now being "Shinobi Clad in Darkness":

Also, for Limit Break news, yesterday they said that there's going to be over 50 Beautiful Fighters, those with 4 stars or more getting so-called "Service Shots":

Classic + Rebellion girls make around 40 (depending on how you count the couples), so maybe this means the redesigns are counted separately (instead of being typical skins), and have skills and/or fanservice of their own...?

Also, the last pic posted confirmed that there's going to be "styles" for OG, Rebellion, Unlimited and Limit Break... though they didn't say much more than that.

Just a few hours ago, the game's PV was posted!

No gameplay posted yet (tho they do say it's a full-auto RPG, maybe it's not much of a looker?), but plenty of new art, redesigns (even Maria and the OG gang from Rebellion), and they keep saying it's coming out soon!

Queen's Blade Limit Break is coming!!

So today, a new, upcoming browser game was announced, its name: Queen's Blade Limit Break!

This time around, it's going to be appearing in the G123 platform (?), and apparently you can pre-register in 3 ways: by following the QBLB twitter above, friending them on Line, or registering in the actual site (you only have to click on the blue button and enter your email on this last one, and you get a code for extra rewards in your mail?). Right now they're trying to reach 50k preregistrations by the end of the month, to get us a lot of rewards, so just in case, every effort you guys make will help.

What's it going to be about tho? Apparently Elina gets swallowed into another world in the middle of QB, and she and Airi set out on a journey to find Leina.

And about the gameplay? Apparently the girls will battle on their own, with the key to victory residing on their positioning, a "simple but deep strategic game". Also, you'll be able to raise their affection with items obtained through battle to unlock "(fan)service illustrations".

They also tease a kind of Mirim in one of the pics, so it's unknown if there's going to be some Rebellion involved.

More news as we find out!
